Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT). In a Nutshell.

Nueromuscular therapy (NMT) works to increase circulation, release muscle tension, increase range of motion, improve postural alignment, and restore balance to the nervous system.

Even long-term chronic pain can be relieved by NMT. The nervous system and the musculoskeletal system can be balanaced even after years of functional distortion.

Spinal Reflex Analysis (SRA). In a Snap.

Spinal Reflex Analysis (SRA) addresses the spondylogenic reflex which can be triggered by stress. This reflex causes spinal facet joint irritation or instability contracting key core muscle fibers, usually creating pain if left undetected. Each segment in the spine has a set of stabilizing muscles responsible for it. By identifying the segment agitated, we can use these muscle patterns to dampen the spondylogenic reflex, stabilize facet joints, and return coordination and efficiency to movement and, in doing so, eliminating pain.

Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT). Cut to size.

All movement is organized in the cerebellum or the "motor control center" of the brain. For whatever reason, (electromagnetic waves, stress, injuries, disease, etc.) our bodies become unbalanced and create abnormal compensation patterns to maintain level of movement. For example, if your leg is broken, other muscles will take on the extra work load to maintain stabilization. These are great short-term strategies but, in the long run, will cause pain and destructive forces on the joints and ligaments. Usually, this happens on a much smaller scale unseen to the naked eye. Through muscle testing, NKT discovers the abnormal patterns so a corrective solution can be found. Through daily stretches and exercises, the client can retrain the motor control center to normal, healthier patterns.

NKT has been very successful when partnered with Pilates. Once muscle compensation patterns are found, Pilates instructors can create specialized exercise programs for their clients. Knowing specifically which muscles need to be strenghthened or released creates a faster healing process and more efficient session.
